The Eastcoaster Resort is the perfect place to base yourself and experience the following activities and attractions on the East Coast:

 

Maria Island

Get the ferry from the resort over to historic Maria Island. Spend the day immersing yourself in nature, pack a picnic lunch or take advantage of one of the many walking tracks available.

Troy D Dive Wreck

Dive the wreck of the former coastal trader Troy D, recently sunk off Triabunna. Permits are required.

Freycinet Peninsula

Walk into world renowned Wineglass Bay, Take in the magnificent scenery while relaxing with coffee or meal from one of the many Cafe's and Bakeries.

Wineries

The East Coast of Tasmania has many outstanding wineries and vineyards. Most have have cellar door access for sampling and purchasing of great Tasmanian wines.

Cruises and Fishing Charters

The East Coast of Tasmania is synonymous with water activities and fishing. Cruises and Fishing Charters are readily available for those wishing to explore the East Coast waterways.

Weilangta Forest Drive

The Weilangta Forest Drive is a gravel forestry road that takes you through tall eucalypt production forests and pockets of relict rainforest.

Food

The East Coast abounds with quality food producers. Berry Farms, Fresh Tasmanian Seafood and Chocolate are just some of the delights awaiting to be discovered.

Dining

The East Coast has a plethora of dining options ranging from fine dining through to cafe and bakery style meals
